1. Mental
preparation - While still living with their parents
, usually everything is set up and available. However, on the first day in a dormitory and so on , everything must be done alone . Therefore , before we decide
to live in a kost it's good to already started doing chores independently.
2.
Choosing
a dormitory place - Think carefully when choosing a kost
place . If possible , make a visit to the kost places to see a situation where
the kost , room to be occupied , the owners and occupants of the kost , the
environment and society , including transportation facilities are relatively
near to school / college / office and shop / store the nearest shops for daily
shopping needs .
3.
Learning
to Think and priority - Because they must to manage
everything, kost to be a palce to make them learning to think and priority .
They need to think finances are limited , but the need and desire unlimited.
Thus , they need to make a priority based on the level of needs and interests ,
including setting aside money as saving.
4.
Consequent
upon selection - while in the house , everything is
available . However , we have to be willing to lose the chance, and we have to
face the consequences of that choice.
5. Consultation with Parents
– this is very important. Send a message to the parents. Bacause as parents, of
course they still have a sense of worry for their children even though they
were grown.
6.
Socializing
with owner Dormitory , Dormitory and Public Citizen Around - In
order not lonely , try to socialize and hang out with friends the other kost ,
kost owner even with people around .
7.
Important
Contacts - Because far of the family , give important
contact family and people who believed in the dormitory to anticipate things that
are not desirable or other important news .
